The funny green stuff on the water is Duckweed, or as the scientists call it, Lemma minor. It grows naturally like a green blanket floating on the surface of Green Gator River that flows around Wild Animal Island in Jungle Adventures Nature Park & Zoo.  Some folks say it smells funny but hey, that's nature.
